Some of our users were complaining about the fact that their shop was not available with the www prefix, as in www.nameofyourshop.zlio.com.
From now on, if your visitors type www. in front of your shop’s name, they will be immediately redirected to your shop’s real url !
For example : www.catstuff.zlio.com now leads automatically to http://catstuff.zlio.com/
We have a feeling you’re going to like this ! ![]()

This is great news, and thanks for using my shop as an example.
Are there planes to have the same functionality when using your own domain name? For example http://www.catstuffstore.com should lead to catstuffstore.com but it does not.
My current CNAME entries:
catstuffstore.com CNAME [catstuff.zlio.com]
www CNAME [catstuff.zlio.com]

I discovered today that it is a better option to use forwarding with domain masking (at least when using godaddy.com). This allows for both prefixed and non prefixed urls to function as well as email through my domain name.
If I use CNAME entries then email through my domain name would become stuck with this message “pending setup: validating MX record”.
