At the moment, the way you earn money with Zlio is simple – whenever anyone buys something via your shop, you get a commission. We’re now proud to introduce another way to earn money on Zlio – every time someone clicks on certain products in your store, you get paid!
A product will often be offered by more than one of our partners. Some of them will pay you in the “normal” way (as a commission on items bought via your store), but some will now pay you every time someone clicks on one of their offers.
A real-life example
This DVD is available from two of our merchant partners in the shopbot on your product page:
- Buy.com pays you commission on every sale (3%).
If a visitor of yours buys this DVD at Buy.com, you get $0.38 (3% * $12.62)
If a visitor of yours buys this DVD at Buy.com, you get $0.38 (3% * $12.62)
- Family Videos will pay you every time someone clicks on the offer ($0.06 per click).
Each time a visitor clicks on the “Family Video” offer, you get $0.06, even if your customer doesn’t buy the DVD!

What’s in it for me and my visitors?
It means that your visitors are presented with a greater variety of products.
For some of your products, the number of offers displayed in the shopbot will be greater thanks to this new innovation. It’s a good way to make sure that your visitors get the best price.

It guarantees you some revenue.
At the moment, you can get 50 visitors clicking on items in your shop without any purchases – which means no revenues. Now, you can get paid for every click.

To display “per-click” offers on your shop, you must accept the relevant terms and conditions by logging in to Zlio.
But careful! You are not allowed to click on your own “per-click” offers!
How can you tell whether an offer is paid “per sale” or “per click”?

Hello
Thank you for this new feature. How will we find out when someone has clicked on those other links and when do we get paid? Will you have a click count in our account?
I don’t even have confidence in the regular royalty system because we don’t know what someone buys and when. A friend bought two items totalling over 800 dollars worth of goods it never showed up in our account even though I sat next to him while he made the purchase of a gps and a laptop computer both through buy.com 2 months ago.

I know that you are not allowed to click on an item that is a “per click” item. What if you want to click on the item to compare prices with other items. Is there a penalty for clicking on the orange item?

Hi there! Answers to your questions:
– Iwilta – it’s up and running as we speak – go to your shop and have a try!
– Mary – you don’t need to click on the item to compare prices. If you look on the item page, you’ll see all the prices displayed there, and you can compare them without clicking.
– Estina – when you add or edit an item in your store, you’ll notice a new section has been added on the left of the dialogue called “choose my per click offers”. You can use this section to tell us you want to display per-click offers for that particular item.
– EGadgets – yes it is!! Even more money for you, in other words!

Unless I’m not doing it right, i think I’m using the pay per click option but I don’t see anything about the “choose my per click offers” that you mentioned in the last reply. Am I not looking in the right place?

In relation, to paying our commision do you have plans to look for other payment services to cater other loyal zlio members who could not be fully served by the PayPal Services?
Specially here in the Philippines? Paypal only served for the outgoing cash trasactions but not the incoming cash transactions such as your payment for our commissions.
For my part, I do not have credit card. But I already tried egold services when MyLot paid me. Or checks sent from google for my earnings.
Maybe, zlio could make a way to cater all its loyal zlio members??

Even we, as potential sellers, are interested in new interesting items. A click or two from our own site is just as valuable as a click from an outside visitor. It would be nice to be allowed at least two personal clicks per month or so. It’s like how we sold M&M’s as kids… and couldn’t resist buying and eating them ourselves =) A sale is a sale!

Presently I am still setting up shop and very excited about sharing this with my MANY on line friends. I have 2 grown daughters who are also interested and they both live with me. How can I share my products with them without it looking like I am clicking on the products myself… Also I would like to be able to compare my own prices so that I can give my clients the best products for the money.
Is there any way to turn the pay per click feature off while we are sharing the products with family members or simply want to shop ourselves?
You say above that we can see the prices but I am having a hard time finding that info
and afraid to click around. LOL
We have no idea the cost of things unless we are allowed to compare.
It’s hard to run a shop without knowing these things or having access.
Ok maybe I just fell off the turnip truck but surely there are others with the same questions.

I understand about the commissions and ppc, can Shopkeepers get a detailed record/log posted to their account from their stores? I have 4 stores, as of now i have no idea on what has sold or clicked on. To me, this will let me know how well they’re doing and whats Hot and whats Not. Something fairly simple like this, will be soooo great!
